Think you know how to build? Strut your stuff!
Get accredited as a PHI Certified Passive House Tradesperson (CPHT).
This course & workshop is for building professionals who are concerned about moisture control, air sealing, thermal bridging, healthy indoor air, durability, resiliency, and affordability of high-performance.
A few times a year, here in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, we host a 4-day class, followed by the PHI accreditation exam to become a Certified Passive House Tradesperson (CPHT). Emu has developed a first-of-its kind, North American-specific curriculum with a hands-on workshop component for building professionals.

These courses take place at our home offices in Arvada, CO, (near Denver) where every February we roll out the most current version of our North American curriculum and host any Trainers seeking to shadow our class in to teach the curriculum themselves.
Still unsure? Check out the video below to see what our February 2018 graduates had to say about their week with us. (See a list of our alumni).
Don’t want to come to Colorado? You don’t have to attend our Rocky Mountain Retreat to learn about advanced building science. Emu’s curriculum is now being taught in classrooms all over North America, and we’re adding trainers from other cities to our circle all the time. Leave your feedback on the Waitlist & Location Request Form, and make sure to specify where you’d like to see a class happen. We’ll try to make it happen!
Emu is an accredited Training Provider with the International Passive House Institute (PHI). We are authorized to offer Certified Passive House Tradesperson (CPHT) courses + accreditation exams for building professionals.
